The case of Mahsa Amini, who was arrested for ‘improper’ wearing of hijab in Iran and died (murdered) after being tortured, became a litmus test for the Iranian regime. The killing of the innocent girl moved the struggle against the mullahs' regime from homes to the streets, fueling protests and widening the unrest. Instead of investigating the root of the problem, the regime thought to change the situation further by spreading information about the past of the murdered innocent girl.

The regime media, which first thought it was done by releasing images claiming that Mahsa Amini had died of simple heart failure, later claimed that the girl was a member of the Komala party, one of the Kurdish terrorist groups, and released photos and information to confirm this.

Faktyoxla Lab. has investigated the authenticity of this claim.

One of the Azerbaijani-language telegram channels controlled from Iran spread the following information: “Mahsa Amini’s photo from Hizbi Kumle-i Peshmerga. The plan was great, but God Almighty thwarted the enemy's plans with heart attacks and security video recordings. According to the plan, Mahsa Amini would cause an incident in the center of Tehran, be beaten and arrested. The current order in Iran would be complicated by bringing it to the agenda all over the world through social media, television and newspapers, people. While the enemy was making such plans, God Almighty overturned their plans.”

After this information was spread on the Telegram channel, we searched for the source of it. It turned out that the information was first published on maahinnews.ir, which is the unofficial propaganda mouthpiece of the IRGC. The news headline read "Mahsa Amini was a member of Komala and drank cyanide to avoid detection."

According to maahinnews.ir, the propaganda experts of this country are trying to deepen this information. https://www.hoorsa.com/p/MzQxNDE4MjA= goes a little further and writes that the "Adl Ali" hacker group intercepted correspondence between members of the Komala party, and thus the "Mahsa Amini case" is a plot of sabotage against the Iranian state. According to the website, in the correspondence between Amini's cousin Irfan Mortazei, the plan was made from the beginning that the girl would go to Tehran and attract attention.

In the third stage, after disinformation from websites close to the regime, the following profiles on social media started circulating that information.

In all the mentioned sources, as well as in Azerbaijani-language telegram channels controlled from Iran, an almost identical text was given:

A photo of Mahsa Amini while training in the ranks of the terrorist Komala party in Kurdistan.

Iranian-born Kurdish girl Mahsa Amini's connections with Komala, a Kurdish terrorist organization with ties to Israel, were revealed. It was established that Iranian Kurdistan sacrifices itself to separate from Iran. According to the allegations, it takes this step knowing that women who do not cover in Iran will be held accountable, planning from the beginning that this killing will later turn into calls against the state, protests, even guerrilla warfare. That was the plan.

Since her cousin is one of the leaders of the Kurdish Komala Party, she consults with him, with his permission she takes a poisonous substance and her heart fails under the effect of the pill and she dies.

It is even mentioned in the posts that her aunt appeared on the "Gasht Irshad" television broadcast over the Internet in Kurdistan and voiced these opinions there. Great powers conspired, started a war, isolated Iran, but they could not shake the Iranian republic even a drop. God willing, they will not be able to do it thanks to the leader and selfless youth.

This was the thought of Iranian propaganda experts.

So, is the lady in the shared photo really Mahsa Amini?

After a little research on open sources on the Internet, we were able to find the following resources.

In this photo gallery shared on the official website of the Democratic Party of Iran under the title "Democratic Party representatives support the women of the Zagros Committee", we find photos of a woman who looks like Mahsa Amini.

Taking into account the possibility of a change in the date of publication of the sharing on the websites (posting the current information with the old date), we searched for that photo on social media. This result was obtained:

If we pay attention, we see that those photos were published on Facebook on May 28, 2016. In 2016, Mahsa Amini, who was murdered in 2022, was 16 years old. It is impossible to give this age to the woman in the shared photo. Also, there are enough differences in their physiognomy.

Result:

Photos and information spread on Iranian special services, pro-government media, telegram channels, and social media are fake.

The woman whose photo was shared has nothing to do with Mahsa Amini.

The Iranian propaganda industry has confirmed the crime of spreading this lie. So, by sharing this photo and claiming that Mahsa Amini belongs to one of the Kurdish terrorist groups, the media ideologues actually want to clarify the reason why the crime was committed. That is, this lady was in one of the Kurdish terrorist groups and she was killed as a result of the operation for this illegal activity. It was false self-defense.
